Southwest Airlines, an airline company that currently has a successful hub in Orlando, is expanding its travel offerings to and from the prominent entertainment destination.
The carrier headquartered in Dallas will introduce an additional four flights during the next summer season.
The airline's decision was predicated upon the increasing demand for travel to Orlando. Three of the four new roots began on July 15.
Three routes that have already been initiated include Albuquerque, Boston, and Long Beach, California.
It is anticipated that the fourth forthcoming route would originate from El Paso, Texas.
The service will initially operate as flights exclusively on Saturdays. The commencement of the El Paso route is scheduled on September 9th.
The anticipated expansion of Southwest Airlines to Orlando is projected to catalyze further expansions to more airports over the next summer season.
The airline has lately extended its aircraft fleet. Southwest Airlines has also announced its intention to undertake an expansion project at Houston's Hobby Airport.
