McDonald's New Burger Debuts at These Locations Today
McDonald's much-anticipated new burger debuts in America today. The McPlant will be sold at a few places nationwide
Only eight McDonald's locations in Irving and Carrollton, Texas, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Jennings and Lake Charles, La., and El Segundo and Manhattan Beach,
The chain will temporarily add the new item to its menus in these markets to evaluate its culinary operations.
"This particular test will help us understand how offering a burger with a plant-based patty impacts the kitchens in our restaurants," the firm stated in a statement.
While Americans are getting their first taste, some European countries have already tasted the plant-based version
Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, and the U.K. tested the McPlant this year and said it tasted like McDonald's.

According to Engadget, the burger has acquired the UK's Vegetarian Society vegan accreditation, indicating it is made without animal products
